Monument to the Serbian Soldier is a unique symbol of Kraljevo. It is situated in the heart of the town, on the Serbian Warriors Square, and was raised in the honour of officers and soldiers who died in the 1912-1918 wars.
The monument was raised in1932 and in 1960 was relocated to the military cemetery. The monument was returned to its original location. Citizens call it "Milutin".
Apart from being a historical and cultural landmark, this monument is also a sun clock as the top of Milutin’s flag casts a shadow on the square marked with numbers.
As the square is located at the intersection of central streets which are in the pedestrian zone, Milutin has become a favouite place of citizens of Kraljevo and one of the most famous tourist spots.
