Guca Weekend Tour 12-14th of August 2016
The quiet and picturesque small town of Guca, placed in the heart of Dragačevo won its world fame thanks to the Trumpet Gathering, the largest gathering of this type in the world. From its first edition, held back in 1961,it experienced afast growth in popularity, reaching it’s peak in the recent years, when it brings together over half a million trumpet and funfans from all over the world. Get ready for the 56th Trumpet Gathering in Guča!
ITINERARY FOR 12-14TH OF AUGUST 2016:
FRIDAY, AUGUST 12th: Departure in front of main Belgrade train station at 4:00 pm. Drive through Rudnik and Jelica, arrival in Guča at around 8 pm. Accomodation. Short rest until it’s time to go to the center the events. Midnight concert with the 12 best brass bands from the qualification stage. After that, the concert master of the trumpet. Overnight.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 13th: After breakfast, we’ll go watch the parade on the streets of Guča – there’ll be a reenactment of an old Dragačevo wedding. At night the final competition of senior brass bands will take place. Concert master of the trumpet.
SUNDAY, AUGUST 14th: Concert of wiinning orchestras on the 56th Trumpet Festival in Guca (first band, first trumpet, trumpet audience...). After the concert departure for Belgrade (around midnight).
PRICE: 99 eur
THE PRICE INCLUDES:
- Bus or van transfer Belgrade - Guča – Belgrade;
- Accommodation: two nights in 2 or 3 bed room (shared bathrom)
